I recall the first HDEO I ever bought was Rotella 15w40 conventional or whatever. Dad said his first was DELO SAE 40

Mobil Delvac ESP 5W40 in 2016 when I bought my Cummins Ram. I switched to Mobil Delvac 1300 15W40 almost 2 years ago.

Rotella 5w40 CI4 full synthetic or Esso xd3? 0w40 full synthetic also CI4, about 12-14 years ago in the 76 350 Olds in my 84 Cutlass. Then I started using regular pcmo synthetics plus a zinc additive, eventually realized I didn't really need the extra zinc. Today I run m1 0w40 in the same engine, which has some extra zddp anyway.

Texaco ursa premium tdx 15w40 ran it in my 7.3 for years loved this oil.Wish they still sold it in the USA.
