The benefits of changing oil

Hondas gx390 piston ran for many hundreds of hours oil changed every 20 to 50 hours.
This engine was an air compressor before I got it, then a stump grinder, it didn't quite have enough power for the stump grinder and then pressure washer. But it burned too much oil to be a pressure washer and needed a rebuild.
Oils used, whatever 30wt I had laying around then when it was a pressure washer it got mobil1 v-twin 20w-50.

All of it.
This is how I ran it in its final form, the pressure washer.

It's an old gx390. So around 390cc making hopefully 11hp.

What did the top of the piston look like? Also the interior of the head.

Its black kind of covered with carbon, the reason I removed the Piston was because the engine was burning oil.
