Can't argue with that. A bone stock 5.0L in a Fox-body Mustang with nothing more than an exhaust systems sounds just about perfect. It's not radical. It's not annoying. It's just... right.

This is the same 5.0L engine that my buddy and I put together in two different cars. Stock shortblock 302HO, Jay Allen cam, TFS TW's....etc. Silver car it was carb'd with a 650DP Holley, black car it was fuelie sporting a TFS-R.




Made 300 to the tires injected, should have made more but it ended up needing valve springs so we were hitting valve float. Didn't find that out until later unfortunately

Definitely one of my favourite sounding engines.

The 1.6L I4 in my Corolla with electric supercharger and 6" exhaust sounds WAY better than any of those cars.

Yep, nothing like a decent sized American V8, especially with a nasty tune.

I still run out in the AM to hear the RAM stat up cold. Sounds amazingly radical...

No cross plane crank V8 sounds as good as a Ferrari F355 or 458.

Love my 83 Silverado with the 305 and 3" single exhaust going thru a Magnaflow high flow cat and Flowmaster 40 series muffler dumped in front of the rear axle, all bark and no bite!
