Sample #1 is the HPL premium passenger 0W-20 VOA
Sample #2 is TGMO; OC at 5K(?), 15K, 16k and now has 17855 mi.
In: HPL premium passenger 0W-20 and Walmart ST9972

A re-certified RX350 and was concerned about maintenance abuse. It is one year OC, the TGMO 16K oil change was done in May 2024.

Looks like you can extend it out several thousand miles now but you probably have that planned.
The plan is to transition from the original dealer TGMO fill to HPL premium passenger 0W-20 for a 10K OCI with a ST9972 filter change at 5K mi with another UOA. I have another 6qts of HPL remaining.

Took a retrospective look at my 2014 Toyota Venza 2GR-FE UOA at 20K mi trying to glean differences.
Any observations?

I did some analysis to set future 2021 Lexus UOA expectations using historical collected 2014 Venza's UOAs. Anecdotal at best.
It takes about 25K mi to get the Cu, Fe and Si to a steady state. The labs used were Blackstone and Fabick CAT S.O.S analysis.

It suggest Toyota’s engine are not fully broken in until 25K miles as long as there has been multiple 5K oil changes.
