I am interested as well. There is some shearing so I thought used oils might perform better than new, but then people are saying used oil is worse than new in the cold?

Yeah, Shannow posted on it a while back. Basically, as oil ages, its cold temp performance starts to degrade.

-25 was about the coldest I saw, then I was in bed, LOL! Had warmed up to the mid teens by the time we started to drive anything this AM, so nothing dramatic. Supposed to get really warm now and then cold again
