Whether Tesla or ICE is more prone to fire, I've only personally seen a few vehicle fires in my nearly 40 years of life. All but one was a clapped out old vehicle where I presume a brake or transmission fluid line leaked onto a hot exhaust component. The one that wasn't, was a car that hit a bridge pylon at highway speed. None were EVs. Continuing this train of thought, I think, based on my experience seeing a ton of people die, that eating proper, drinking in moderation or not at all, and maintaining a healthy body composition through aforementioned diet as well as exercise, is going to matter a whole lot more than ICE vs EV in what takes you out. These threads remind me of 400# gun nuts who carry "100%, everywhere, even in the shower, because things happen..." and yet they don't have health insurance.
