hey guys! this is kinda off topic so move or delete if necessary.
i have alot of bottles with glass threads that i have sprayers screwed on to, some of them leak and i want to see the best solution for making sure the threads dont leak,
i assume teflon tape is the best way to go? but do you think its worth while to purchase a better teflon tape like blue monster etc? i also heard about thread sealent/compoiund and i seem interested in and i like it better because then the sprayer wont screw off easily and it will also seal the threads preventing leak. do you know of any thread sealent/compound that would work on glass threads?

thanks!

The seal of a bottle cap is the washer in the cap that meets the flat part of the top of the bottle. The threads are not precise enough to form a seal.

Realize that a pump spray bottle can't be completely sealed because air must be able to get in to replace the liquid as it is sprayed out.
