Tec Select cut open

Short 3k oci, Puro made Tec Select. Held up ok, little wavy. Valvoline Next Gen Max Life was used. Adbv was soft and pliable. Media pleats were wide by the metal crimp, possibly would have tore soon I don't know. 0 tears though

I've noticed that's where most of the tears occur.

I removed one of these Tec select filters off a friend's F150 a couple of months ago. She had a 5K run with bulk synblend 5W-20 from Tireman. There was zero ADBV function left in the filter when I removed it. I replaced it with a FL400S and Valvoline MaxLife.
