Does anyone have the TBN and Noack for:

Mobil 1 ESP 5w30, 0W-30, and 0W20
Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30, 0W20

Thanks for any help.

They don't typically publish NOACK info anymore, but the ESP should be less than 10% for Xw30 since they carry MB229.51 and MB229.52, and below 11% on 0W20 because VW 508/509 and MB229.71 limit the NOACK to 11%. If you really want to know, your best bet is to email technical support at XOM and see if they'll tell you, otherwise it's guesswork.

Thanks for the details on how to ferret out such information ... appreciate your help.👍

TBN:

EP 0W20: 7.0 (D4739)
EP HM 5W30: 7.4 (D4739) Assume non-HM is the same or slightly better.
This, to me, proves that starting noack is no indication of how “good” an oil is or how long it could be run out for an oci. Chevron supreme shares a similar/higher Noack yet Mobil 1 Extended Performance has been seen multiple times to exceed 15k easily in used oil analysis.

Don't you mean TBN?

Noack:

Mobil 1 ESP 5w30: couldn't find any number, but I remember it's 6.Xish %
Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30: 9.1/9.2 %
Mobil 1 ESP 0W-20: 11.2 %

btw, recent Mobil 1 ESP Formula 5w30: 5.6 %

All numbers from several Russian VOAs.

Has like 9 actual approvals before the “recommended “ even starts

Recently changed the Castrol Magnatec 5w30 ~3.0 HTHS to Shell Helix Ultra 5W30 ~3.5 HTHS.
The car is certainly running smoother than the weird smelling castrol.
Noack circa 5%

Q: Mobil 1 Racing 0w50 has a TBN of 8, is that good for an oci of 3,000 miles or one year? TIA.
