Read a review awhile back and the reviewer wighed the critter and said it was actually a little over 9 pounds!!!!!!
Of course, the reviewer may have had the brains of a trollop, a priest or a politician (Hmmmm did that violate the R/S/P ban???)and weighed it with a lot of detritus within the bag????
Anyway..... you chaps and chapettes go ahead and use thine multi-hundred bucks sucking device ("S" ban violated???), I'll use my $12.99 at the Starvation Army thrift store heavy-duty semi-ancient almost all metal used sucker.
It beats the carpet, vibrating it for several feet away from the beater bar. The massive amount of infloqing air sucks up everything..... including kids if the opening was big enough.
Yep, a mighty fine cleaner ala vacuum and at a price even a Scrooge would love.
For other sucking tasks my awesome wondrous Shop-Vac with its power of 5 horses (with no horsy poo mess) and 15 gallon capacity is nonpareil. Even the pet mice love it. When cleaning their cage the rascally rodents run to the nozzle, their little eyes bright with delight at the upcoming ride......... whooooosh... ploop ploop. After cleaning the cage I remove the top to see two little critters looking up, awaiting the hand that will deposit them back into their cage.
I did go through several sets of rodentia before realizing the upright beater bar vacuum would not provide the same type of thrill the Shop-Vac gives. Their little mousy bodies couldn't handle that beater bar. Sniff. Poor mousies.
Anyway, the Shop-Vac gets stuff out of the corners, off the walls and the ceiling. No spider can survive long!!!!!!!!
