$6000 sounds a little too much for a pre-made suit. It would be cheaper to fly to China and have a tailor made suit made from cashmere.

Yeah - but he wanted real cashmere. Not cashdog.

41? - I was gonna say - that guy in the picture is NOT a 41.

Coffin come with it? I blew steak sandwich on my monitor.

Kiton does bench made and MTM and they are considerably more expensive, i.e., in the $10,000 and up range. They are able to do sufficient alterations to their entry level off the rack suits to fit most folks just fine, but there is still no substitute for a good bench made or made-to-measure suit. I've got two bench made suits by Vincenzo Sanitate in New York and they are the most comfortable suits I own. The freedom of movement in them is unbelievable; it's like you're wearing a running suit rather than a business suit. (And now that I think about it, I misspoke above when I said my Oxxford was my most expensive suit. The Sanitate suits were both more than the Oxxford.)

Here is a pic of me wearing one of my Sanitate suits:

None. A little out of my price range, but a gorgeous piece of handwork. The fabric was 100% cashmere. Also, my days of wearing a 41R are about 25 years behind me.

I don't own anything by Kiton. I do have something by Brioni, a sport coat that was almost $3000. The most expensive suit I've got is an Oxxford, which was almost $4000. The most expensive jacket I've got is a navy double breasted blazer by Anderson & Sheppard in London. It was about $3500.

The most expensive suit i ever wore was from a London tailor C&D. It's only £400.
