I have the smoth ride suspention ZW7.
Just ordered new rear coil springs.
Going with bilstein 4600 shocks all around.
Any helpful information on installing the new coil springs in the rear.
From videos that looks like I can just remove the shocks and Jack the body up and should be able to pull the Springs right out.
Some show removing the sway bar
One video of the guy use spring compressor so I'm not sure which will be the best and easiest way.
Anybody that has done this please chime in for some helpful information.

Sure I can help. Just did that on my z55 Escalade last month. You have Nivomat? You don't have the ride height sensors on all 4 corners? Then you don't have to worry about disconnecting them. I don't have a lift, so my jack stands and floor jacks cant lift the body high enough. So went as far as i could with stands, took the wheels off, removed shocks, disconnected rear links. disconnected rear brake hose from frame. lowered the rear axle. I would replace the rubber insulators, and if you are in the salt belt its a good time to rust proof all areas the spring somes in contact with. Then once you get the spring in place, jack the axle back up and connect shocks, links. Thats pretty much it. Also if new spring has the same amount of coils, same type of spring, pay attention to the way the last coil was sitting on the axle.

Yes I have Nivomat no sensors it's a 2006.
Thanks for the info.
I ordered the A/C delco professional replacement springs, 16 inch relaxed for non-Z71 since mine is 2wd.
Had a choice of Moog, bilstein or A/C delco springs.
I dont have a lift.
Will be doing this all with Jack's and jack stands.

How is the ride and height now ?
I put the bilsteins on and it sagged in the rear a few inches low than before than I learned I needed new springs

Its higher than it was with the z55 spring even though both were 16" relaxed. It has 2 more coils. I like the ride. Stiffer. Handles better Takes more weight. And I still have the air ride.

Great thanks.
I tow a TT so was hoping it was a little higher and stiffer

Yeah my rake increased in the rear by just under an inch. This was right after I installed them when it was more than an inch. They've come down after a couple months

Looks good.
Hope my install goes smooth.
I have 195k
So new shocks all around should be an improvement.
Just put bridgstone alenza plus on last weeks

That's what the Escalade has. Great on the highway and good on the steep hills around here in winter conditions. We've had some really bad weather recently and the SUV has been more than capable. You will be happy with those tires. 36 PSI seems to be the sweet spot
