Sil glyde from napa is what some use on rubber seals. Others use einzett gummi pflege.

The issue really is UV here, so something heavy and more opaque/UV inhibiting/blocking is key.

But in reality, id go for new seals as rubber dries out as well as degrades.

Eastwood supposedly has some rubber revitalization stuff, but I havent tried it.

Sil glyde is what I use before with excellence result . Turn old seal into new seal . But the smell is what killing me. Great for the trunk seal though where it far away from where you seat .

I have been very satisfied with Mothers VLR on rubber and plastic pieces lately. It has a pleasant clean smell, it cleans the grime off, it leaves protective oils, and it is safe for most/all automotive materials. I use it on all the weatherstripping on my truck.

It isn't as heavy duty as Sil Glyde and will need regular applications, but it also has a wider range of uses since you can use it on all plastic, rubber, and coated leather in the car.

I've bought it in a small plastic squeeze tube - cant say that smell was ever noticeable.

If the t tops have a lot of exposed seal surface, having a product like that is going to attract dirt and be tough to car wash.

I`ve been using the same leather conditioner I use on my seats for my t-top seals and it works great! Either Armor All Leather Protectant or Meguiar`s Gold Class.

Brand is not that important. I used to use the cheap stuff but the 100% silicone variety goes a longer way and has less solvent mixed in.

Thanks . After done some searching . Look like most use this metrol .
