I have a 2003 jaguar x type 2.5L auto with 62,000 miles on her. I was going to have the transfer case and differential fluid changed. I was going to only use amsoil products. Where can I bring my car to have these fluids changed? Also which amsoil product should I use for this? Thanks!!

Check with our Amsoil site sponsors. It sounds like you can purchase enough product to make being a "preferred customer" worth while. I find that a quality independent shop is usually more than happy to install customer provided parts and fluids. That way they don't have to warranty anything except their labor. I've done this multiple times and it's worked out well. I supply the parts and fluid I want installed and just pay them for their labor. And it usually saves you money doing so

Xcase fill plug could be difficult to get at. And, the refill on the case is a measured amount. Typical simple gearbox are filled until overflowed.
The diff should be easy enough for any shop.

Does anyone else find it strange that Amsoil recommends a 10W40 or 15W40 for the X-type manual transmission?
It's a Ford MTX75...
Shouldn't 75W90 GL-4 be the correct oil?
I think the 140wt in the diff/transfer cae is also interesting.
As is the 40wt engine oil rec'd as Motul's "Ford/Jag" specific oil is a 5W30 w/ an HTHS below 3.5.

140wt synthetic to protect lifetime filled components, which are probably weak. Use thick and synthetic to make up for change interval???????
Yep, 40wt motor oils and 90wt gear oils are similar visc. Its a coin toss there. I would rather use an manual fluid like the MTG.
Amsoil's recommendations are pretty close but not perfect.
