I try to do a D&R annually to avoid problems and because of the small amount that comes out...it's like refreshing the additives...

The Elantra has 106K and has had either ML or Valvoline Import FS since I bought the car with 28K.
I find ML and Valvoline Import FS to work great wherever I've used them....great products.

I have been looking for that Valvoline Import FS ATF and have never found it locally. I feel more comfortable with the slightly higher Cst that it offers. Would you mention how or where you are acquiring it?

I originally used Valvoline Maxlife when I bought the Elantra because it was readily available and AZ had it for $10 a gallon on an internet only sale. I acquired a few gallons of the Valvoline Import Synthetic when AA was CLEARING it out at $8.50 (or maybe it was $8.25) a gallon....both VML and VFS work in my Elantra and Corolla so I knew I'd find a use for it....The vst @ 100*C of the VFS is slightly thicker than the VML (I'm not sure but it was about 6.8 vs. 5.8 which would explain why VML can be used in DexVI apps)
I think that most AAs still carry single quarts of VFS but it's more expensive (approx. $7 a quart).
