Everyone my father, Orest, has a question for you..... Dad:
Thanks Yuk;
Once upon a time when I was having my transmission serviced I asked the tech.
what could I do to keep it in good condition, like, periodically adding a trans-
mission sealer and conditioner, and he answered, "you can do just as well, at less cost, by topping up the transmission with synthetic motor oil."
5% of the time my '94 Taurus has the not-uncommon--slipping clutch due to a cracked front piston--flaw.
My question is, will the higher viscosity of a multi-grade synthetic, or a
"oil thickener/viscosity improver" reduce the occasional incidence of the transmission slippage?
