Synthetic ATF for Honda 5-speed Auto?

Vehicle: 2004 Saturn Vue, Honda 3.5L V6/Honda 5-speed Automatic. Same drivetrain as Honda's Odyssey or Pilot I believe.

I called Amsoil for their suggested replacement for using synthetic in this vehicle. They said they hadn't any replacement for Honda's recommended ATF in this trans and suggested using the OEM fluid.

I'd like to use synthetic the entire life of the trans for this vehicle, is there any good synthetic ATF for this trans available?

A respected mfr like AMSOIL tells you to stick with the Honda OEM fluid, and you still want to change.

Makes me wonder are your initials GWB?

Amsoil is recommending their synthetic ATF for applications calling for Honda Z-1 fluids, so I'd double check the specs for your transmission.

The tech you spoke to may have been misinformed ....
