Well I did my oc today. I researched a little over the past few days and liked what I saw about the Fram extended guard filter. Since wal-mart is the only place that I know of in my area I went there and planned to go with Syntec. Upon seeing that a 5qt jug of Edge was only $1.50 more than Syntec I went with Edge.
I received my used oil analysis container from Blackstone today and plan on sending in a sample at 3k and 6k miles to see how this oil is holding up.
On a side note my magnetic drain plug was "fuzzy." Does this sound usual for oil only run 2.5k miles? The engine sat for 1.5yr and was only driven short trips by the previous owner.
