synlube oil filters

Has anyone tried the synlube oil filters. IIRC they claim to filter down to 5um particles. I was going to try one, but they are about 30 bucks.
another thing that turned me off from this company is they sell "break in" oil for $100 a gallon, distilled water for $10/gal, and "synthetic" water for $15/gal.

The element they use is the same as the synthetic that donaldson, fleetguard, and amsoil use.

you can buy the donaldson or fleetguard version for about $12 each.
