Heard some talk that Syn3 doesn't have a EP additive package, and it's possible that the transmissions of HD's running syn3 might have issues beacuse of this missing additive.

What is a EP package

Any truth to the "rumor" about syn3, ep and future wear issues?

Shannon thanks very informative, do you know if Syn3 has the EP for gear oils or at least some form of protection or would it be necessary

In that HD says pour it in all three areas, It would seem that the oil would have to include all kinds of additives, one for motors, one for gears and a different one for the primary.

Or could one additive package handle all three.
