Switched to German Castrol

Decided to try it in my Scion tC. I can tell you it is much quieter both on start up and when warm compared to the conventional Pennzoil I had in it previously or the Quaker State HP synthetic before. I know these 2.4 motors are known for being a bit noisy due to the valve train, but now its dead silent.

I think I have my new fav oil for that car.

Awesome. Im on my first oil change with GC, i really like it. Its awesome suff. Too bad i missed the sale at pep boys, 5 quarts with a purolator pure one filter for $27.99! I thought i had a little more time but i guess not, it ended yesterday

Yeah I have to pay 7.50 a quart for it here. None of the local stores carry it but they will order it for me so I bought a case. Im using it with a Bosch Premium filter. So far so good!

People don't talk about it as much on here these days, but GC is still one of the best OTC oils out there.
