I'll toss another hat in the ring... here's a fellow memeber's 400+ci SBC on Summit Racing's house brand oil... it looks really, really good and this is break-in!

I think he said it was $4.95 a quart and made by Spectro.

So, if I go with the VR1 (conventional) for my stock 340-S...should I use 10W30 or 20W50?
Again, car is only driven from April - Nov.
Summer gets pretty hot here in L.I., NY!
