Sway bar end links

I have to change them on a 2018 Chevy 1500

Im seeing anywhere from 17-18 ft lbs up to 36 ft lbs torque for the bolt and nut. Would someone know the correct spec? Thanks

What size stud? You can look it up in a chart for typical fasteners.

These things are typically disposable, in that they rust or break before you have to dismantle them. Mine rust and need cutting off though you may be lucky to not need this step.

17 ft lbs which only applies to OE end links, Some aftermarket links have a mechanical stop built in.

Just tighten it down. You don't have to torque a sway bar end link.

What does the actual FSM say?
