My main browser is Firefox 1.0.4, but right now I am experimenting with Opera 8.01, too. In fact, right now I'm typing this using Opera.

I love Firefox, but I have noticed that pages load faster with Opera.

I only use IE for Windows Update checks and for some of my banking sites, which only support IE.

How about you?

I use mostly Firefox. Years ago I used Opera, Netscape, and Mozilla. Never was a fan of IE (I do have it installed) and its security holes. All my browsers are Mac versions. On the rare occasions I use my old PC laptop, I use SlimBroswer.

Ditto: FF ..loath IE ..had Opera, Netscape, and Mozilla. Using IE is like turning on a magnet for internet STD's ...maybe like walking outside into a hail of bullets.

I am currently on obsolete AIX 4 (IBM proprietary UNIX) operating system and Netscape 4.79 browser is the only thing available. Many sites do not function, but BITOG works fine.

Firefox is my primary Windows browser, but some sites are written so specifically for IE 6, that sometimes I have no choice.

Explorer. I have Mcaffee and Spysweeper, no issues what so ever. I've tried the other browsers mentioned and they seem to have compatability problems with some sites. I like Explorer cause it's integrated with Windows XP.

AIX 4 ? no longer supported
I have over 100 servers with that version, slowly migrating them to version 5.2 or 5.3 if possible.

Firefox on the home computer (Also a PII win98), laptop, and portable firefox for those places without.

FireFox. Deleted all of my spyware programs after a month of using FireFox. Had 10-20 things pop up every day I scanned while using IE, nothing since I started using FireFox.

I just checked the FF page and they say that FF is more secure than the IE. They do have a vested interest in saying that but I do remember an article telling people to change to FF for security reasons.

Hmmm, since I've had Spysweeper, I can go to the worst sites possible and spyware is always blocked by it. I don't even do scans that much anymore cause they always come up empty.
