Looking for PTZ ,solar, wifi , 50' night vision, phone and desktop access. Any suggestions?

I’m really impressed by my Lorex system. I don’t have the wire free stuff, but my 4K NVR system has excellent video quality and the night mode is really good.

I have a Q-see system that works fine but the thing needs to be rebooted all the time for the mobile app to work with any regularity. Bought it at Costco, 8 Camera system.

I personally would avoid battery operated cameras. Unless you are really really stuck for power which is hard to imagine being you want wifi as wifi has limited range.

Anyway, personally I would recommend any of the "C3" cameras from this company which is a division of one the largest commercial security camera companies on planet earth "HikVision"

The wifi in these cameras are rock solid, the app is rock solid and professional. I personally use 4 of their cameras and have installed 4 at my sons house. Two of my sons are their newest C3X and I was pretty impressed with the color night vision. (in very low light it will go back to black and white)

I have the c3wn which is more basic color daytime and black and white night. All these cameras have very good night vision, quite impressive.

Their pan and tilt interior camera is amazing C6C I believe.

I see they sell a "battery" camera too, I dont have experience with them but if its coming from this company you can bet at the price point it will be awesome.
All their products are well refined as you would expect by a division of a HUGE international security company. Hikvision security cameras are in almost every type commercial establishments in the world. https://www.hikvision.com/en/

Dad use a cheap set from some Amazon seller. I am sure they are all rebranding the same Chinese stuff. It is 2560x1440 I think, 4 camera but extendable to 8, power over ethernet, 1TB storage (Seagate Ironwolf or WD Purple), non wifi, non zoom, indoor outdoor (but we only use it indoor). So far it is ok, not that user friendly but you learn how to handle the quirks, and it works well enough for us monitoring apartment building and scaring away amature thefts. Compression is H265 so it saves more space than H264, but somehow I think due to licensing on the viewer if you want to view them you have to go back to Internet Explorer, because some patent troll start suing everyone when Google says they will not sue others for these patents. Now no modern browsers will view those stored video and you either have to download an app on a phone or you have to use internet explorer from a PC. You can install DynDNS like service on it so you can actually view it past the router from internet / LTE. A TV is connected to it and on 247 in their living room, so they can tell people to get off their lawn with video to prove.

Depends on what is at stake I would probably go with at least Lorex, or those used by a real store / office like Axis, they'll likely cost more but would work better when you really need to identify suspects, less iffy bugs, etc. If you only need 1 probably just get a Nest cam or something like that with cloud storage.

I'm personally interested in PoE cameras as I have wired Ethernet drops outside. These would be to replace the consumer grade cheap ones I have now. Compatibility with Hubitat is a must.
