no experience with them, but from the look of it.. i DONT like it, and i deffinately dont like the idea of the swivel saddle, that with a maxed out height could spell trouble..

Screw jacks are old technology. I'm sure they would work fine. I think you'd prefer the quick ratchet style stands over them. I doubt you'll ever be able to actually jack something with them, as the twisting force required is probably pretty high. So really, they're just a more cumbersome version of a jack stand.

I have the HF 3 ton jack stands. This would be in addition. I have no intention of trying to jack anything up, they are only to support. I was thinking the larger saddle might be handy. I do not see a problem with a swivel saddle. I think my Dad had one like this, but who knows where it went to.

That swivel saddle would be good for something like a truck frame that never seems to be 100% level on the stands. I wouldn't put it under a unibody rocker pinch weld.

I guess ive seen to many bottle jacks come down with little effort,(many from improper use im sure) for that reason alone i just dont want one in my garage. just looks like a accident waiting to happen.. 2 pennies

Here is what I need to do:
