Picked one of these up recently, no part number on the filter end cap. Looks like they used a black sharpie to cover it up, misprint? They were pretty precise, didn’t touch the lettering below.

Anyone ever seen something like this before? Reached out to champ labs customer service via email last night but nothing yet. All the dimensions match up with other 10158 size filters. Other st10158 filters at my local Walmart were the same, something crossed out.

Probably some other brand was blacked out that Champion Labs also makes. Could use some isopropyl alcohol on a rag and gently wipe the blacked out patch to see if you can see what's underneath.

Lets hope Walmart stays with USA and doesn’t outsource like others have been. Have Baldwin, Wix, and Purolator plus some others which aren’t as well known.

I’m at Walmart, because I remember some of the letters being kinda visible on other filters, and I gots to know… hard to get a good pic, but I think these are reboxed k&n so-7023’s, that’s what the crossed out numbers look like on another one at the store. ST10158 fits Toyota/lexus, so-7023 does too. Supertech also has the red o-rings in the boxes.
