Well so far so good. This fluid pours slower then my other DexIII's I have on hand and looks to be thicker. It has worked just great so far in the wifes Buick. It has a stronger then normal parifin smell even for ATF.

mikeg5: Negative. The ATF used for my change five years ago was the regular ST ATF (I don't remember the HM being available then). My point in those other posts was the increased viscosity of the recent change (and perhaps some other unknown factors) caused a definite shift improvement despite the fact that the fluid drain had no obvious problems (discoloration). Don't remind me! I should have saved some for UOA!

seems like thicker is better for most older vehicles with lots of miles on them. i use maxlife atf dex3 in my tacoma and love it..

Yes, I used the High Milage SuperTech. No UOA since I just put this used transmission into the wifes car. Her transmission was not so great at 104,000 miles when I bought the car from my grandmothers estate. It was slipping badly by 150,000 miles and that was with bi-anual filter and fluid changes with regular ST Dex III. So even though the salvage yard claimed that the transmission I bought had only 54,000 miles on it I figured it is still 10 years old and has probably never had a fluid change. They come drained of any fluid so it was hard to tell. The fluid in the T/C was a bit on the dark side but did not smell burnt. So I figured the HM Dex III and a bottle of Lucas Transmission treatment was a good idea. The bottles were WPP bottles so it reasonable to belive that Warren makes this product in their line up and maybe for others as well.

JohnBrowning: If you followed the Walmart link I posted above, you'd see the MSDS on the ST HM ATF lists Warren as the mfr. You called it!

Figure I'd add now that ST ATF has been brought up. I run the ST ATF+4 in a grand cherokee. I did a complete (as possible) fluid swap in the TC and transmission. Ran it for roughly 900+ miles on highway and 50 some odd miles offroad in a bunch of dunes, a river and trails for 3 days.

Came back from trip and drained both to have a look (my first time using ST ATF+4). Both fluids looked just the same as when they came out of the bottle. Last time I did that with ATF+3 (non ST brand) the fluids had darkened a bit. Good substitute for the expensive Mopar quart sized ATF+4's. Drivetrain after 9,000 miles runs a lot smoother when compared to ATF+3.
