Supertech finally changed their bottle seal

I hate foil.....
Usually doesn't remove in one piece unless very thick. But i haven't seen the new seal yet.

I use my shirt pocket screwdriver to "carve" out the majority of the foil (held like a paring knife). Usually, whatever is left behind is easily peeled off or stays put without impeding a smooth pour. :ROFLMAO:

Maybe it is just me, but I think that if there was some sort of unfortunate incident... that I'd rather have a small piece of paper with plastic wrap inside of my engine, over a piece of foil inside of my engine.

Again, might just be me.
Nothing good about either contaminant, both could easily end an engine, so take your time in removing the seal. Definitely in favor of foil, but in an ideal world, we’d all have the liqui Moly twist off plus pull tab setup.

I've always just poked my thumb through the foil seal and then peeled it away. If any foil is stuck or left behind, it is fastened pretty well and won't come off during a pour. Never an issue in 30+ years (knock wood).

Yep, first world problem I deal with like that …
Beats coming home with Mobil 2 👀
