I noticed the Supertech Dexron VI says it meets Toyota WS requirement, $4.27/quart. I just spent $14 a quart at the local dealer for WS. Who makes the Supertech Dexron VI and is it safe for Toyota's?

I'd love to know these answers too. Not sure what I last paid for WS at the dealer, but it was way more that $4.27/quart!

Interestingly, Valvoline Maxlife DEX/MERC also says it meets the WS specification.

thanks,
ben

From I've read about Toyota WS it isn't exactly a robust transmission fluid, and definitely nothing special. Just expensive.

Go to Walmart and get MaxLife Gallons for $17+tax. Perfect WS substitute and about twice it in quality. Win, win, win.
