I am going to be running this on my next oil change. I picked up the 5 quart jug for $10. I think that is a decent oil and price for 7500k mile OCI. Has anyone else run it in a Honda 2.4 four cylinder? What has been your experience with it? Thanks

Never mind. As far as your question, some people on here like supertech oil very much. You should be fine.

You have chosen a good oil for a great engine, you will do fine with that stuff! Run a good filter, I don't like the Orange cans or the Super Tech e-cores but that is purely opinion. Some like Super Tech filters.

I think you could pour grapefruit juice into that engine and run it for 7.5K and you'd be fine.

I pulled the valve cover on a K2.4 which had seen 6 years of 16-20 month, 10-14K OCI, almost all of it 1-3 mile trips. It had some varnish but was otherwise fine. It was using 5W20 bulk oil.

You have nothing to worry about with any SM-rated 5W20 in that engine for 7.5K.

Good to hear! $10 IMO is a good price for 5 quarts (off sale too).$2 a quart?! I though those days were gone for good.

Why?

Because he does not know what he is talking about.
