Supertech 5w-30

A couple of years back a bought some supertech 5w30 changed oil in my dodge but had trouble reading it on the dip stick like it did not want to stick the the dip stick this was about 3 years ago it was also so clear it was hard to read. Have any of you had this trouble with ST 5w30? Or have they changed the formula?

It's much lighter than 10w30 and can be hard to see on the dipstick in sunlight, but you can readily see it on the dipstick in the shade.
