Supertech 5w-30

A couple of years back a bought some supertech 5w-30 changed oil in my dodge but had trouble reading it on the dip stick like it did not want to stick the the dip stick this was about 3 years ago it was also so clear it was hard to read. Have any of you had this trouble with ST 5w-30? Or have they changed the formula?

It's much lighter than 10W-30 and can be hard to see on the dipstick in sunlight, but you can readily see it on the dipstick in the shade.
