007 consider used the Dexron VI that GM recommends for transmissions calling for Dexron III.

I use the Super Tech for ATF if WM stocks what type we need.

Been using ST Dex6 in my 99 Avalon for 5-6 (at least) years now. Did a complete cooler hose replacement when I could no longer find Dex2/3. Transmission performing very nicely. Continue to do a d/f every 15-20k.

If you are referring to the thread I started in the oil section I tried to delete it but was unable which is why I said sorry!

I was going to use the Dexron VI but was told to stick with III by a few rebuilders after I killed 3 200-4R's that I had installed in my 71 Buick with Dexron VI. I have no idea why 6 would not be better.

I have used SuperTech Dex 6 in one of the corollas and no issues to report of, whatever fresh compatible fluid you will use, will work in the corollas/celicas, at least from my experience.
