Plan on using Walmart Super Tech Dexron III transmission fluid for a filter and fluid change. Any opinion as to quality?

There is another Forum just for this type of question:

I've used the SuperTech Dexron III, Dexron VI & the ATF +4 - of course in different cars, all worked fine.

Moved to trans section. Sorry

used it on a 99 corolla with 350k miles on original automatic transmission, dropped the pan, changed the transmission filter, and cleaned everything up and poured in fresh supertech automatic transmission fluid, and it shifts just like new.

now at 370k, it still shifts perfectly.

Original automatic transmission fluid was DARK brown.

Using it right now in both my cars. No problems. Made by Citgo when I bought mine, but WM changes suppliers so you have to check the latest MSDS to be sure. I like the price. I have almost 300k on my Dodge, 3 speed OEM transmission. Always run the cheapest Dex 3 I can find, unless it's Valvoline.

Please provide the details on what vehicle you want to use DEX III on. If you decide to use Supertech it is a fine product at a very reasonable price.

Drain / refills and new filters will really keep that transmission running for a long time, good for you. I wish Hondas had removable filter.

I have used the ATF+4 extensively without issue, but ATF+4 has to be licensed. Dexron III is "obsolete" and does not. So a little more up in the air as to what you are getting, however if it is a Warren product I would use it without hesitation if that is what your vehicle specs.
