Here's an observation I noticed with an E-Core Supertech on a 98 Blazer with remote mount filter: upon startup after the last oil change, it only took about 2 or 3 seconds to build oil pressure. Usually with any other filter that has a metal center cage, it takes up to 7 seconds. The E-Core has substantially less resistance to flow which is a good thing.
