Super easy and clean way to partially exchange trans fluid on 1999-2004 Super Duty

Didn't have time to replace the trans filter and fluid.

Used this method- about as easy and clean as it gets. I know it does not exchange a lot, but doing this every overnight stop gives me a little more piece of mind hauling a loaded trailer 2200 miles.

Only tool needed is a 13 mm wrench. That is it. No jack- just roll under the truck.

I use full synthetic Ford approved moly ATF- bought in a big jug from Rock Auto. The containers are so very easy to measure what came out and how much to replace. Funny, it drains almost the full capacity of the container.

Only ever dropped the pan on our F250 once. That was enough of a hassle to convince me to never do it again. I drain and fill it once a year now.
