Suitable gear lube for Trailblazer front diff?

The light reading I did suggested that the limited slip/locker required an extra dose of LS additives? Maybe I got that wrong? At any rate, I really didn't want her to have issues so I took it in the shorts and bought the GM lube for the rear (since it does have the infamous locker). When I was on the phone with the dealer parts guy, I asked if he had an extra bottle of lube, because I was going to need it after getting the bill! (19 odd dollars per quart)

For the front, I'm going to use Mobil 1, but will need to flush it out some, as there's quite a bit of metal floating around.

The transfer case got Auto Trak II, the cooling system got a drain/fill with Havoline DexCool, New AC Delco plugs and Belden COP boots as well as a change of oil.

Aside from incidental failures, and oil changes, she should be good for another 95k miles.

In my experience over the years I've tried everything from royal purple and amsoil,valvoline and Mobil and I can say without a second thought that redline gear lubes are the best I've ever used and the only redline products I can justify spending more on.
They use no viscosity index improvers so they are basically shear-proof,which extends the service interval.
Royal purple was my favorite prior to discovering redline.
At my local track all the fastest cars use redline products,not saying that's why they are fast,just that these guys believe in the products.
Amsoil is also a top quality product however in my Harley the severe gear did nothing for the first gear clunk whereas redline cured it,which says it all for me.

80w90 will work just fine in both the front and rear diff. Personally I would use 75w90. Make sure ur buddy uses the 4x4 some to get the fluid heated up. I don't think ur vehicle requires limited slip additive, so no need for it. Most brands already have LS and should be fine to use in ur application.
