Just some FYI for you Subaru owners that may want to order the FRAM PH9715 from Amazon here (FRAM PH9715 Oil Spin-On Filter https://a.co/d/4xMxOY4). I ordered two, but what I received was lower bypass alternate PH6607 filters. They’re going back.

What's wrong with the OE Suby filter?
Nothing at all. That's what I normally use and have on the car right now; however, a PH9715 is essentially the 15208AA12A filter. They have identical dimensions, ADBV, bypass relief, filter media, and baseplate. The only difference between it and the OEM is it has a flat gasket vs. a round gasket. So when I saw the PH9715 for $4.79 with prime shipping I figured hey why not? Save me a trip to the dealer (which is 30min away) and save a couple bucks. Oh well, not so much.
