First time I've ever heard Oconomowoc pronounced that way. Signed, a cheesehead.

The filters do look pretty solid for the price.

In my quest or a Roki-made filter for my Hondas, I think I've decided that the Mazda OEM filter for RX-8s is the way to go.

What defines a "high flow" oil filter? There really isn't much dP vs flow difference between them with hot oil (around a 2-4 PSI difference), even at 10 GPM flow.

Just because the name makes it sound like it's "high flow", it's not anything that's going to really matter. So what's the actual definition of a "high flow" oil filter?

It’s just another arbitrary term to make the product look more appealing. A filter that has compromised media or is in bypass mode could be considered high flow but ain’t nobody got time for that.

Maybe they could put a footnote on the box that says: "Designed to tear, leak and go into bypass easily for more better flow".
