Stuck water hose - how to remove?

Finally got it off. However, the cold side is now leaking from flexing it too much. The leak is from the back. Any tips? Does those water sealants actually works?

Stainless steel hoses and a water leak sensor. I have a Samsung SmartThings Hub and at least 10 water leak sensors. Plus RH sensors and a few motion sensors and some smart switches.

I am not sure where Smart Homes devices will be in 10 years. But SmartThings seems good for now.

But the best protection is flipping the breaker on well pump.

Water sealant might work on a drain but never with water under pressure.

If it's leaking where you indicate the valve needs to come off. Maybe a pipe or fitting is cracked?

The pipe goes into the wall. Is that block wall? Can you get to the other side of the block wall. I am thinking you may need to go farther back as something may snap as you start working on it.

New valves and new piping.

Your last photo makes it appear to be a 1/2" compression fitting valve. If so, I suggest soaking the compression nut thread interface (between the red arrow and the wall escutcheon plate) with a penetrating oil and gently removing the valve with the water supply shut off, of course. Then, I would install this replacement valve from Lowes, reusing the old compression nut and brass ferrule to attach the new valve body.

Heck no! Would you get in a boat in the middle of the ocean with a patch made of FlexSeal spray? 😂
