Hey, short story, this olds loves brakes... i mean like im on the 4th or 5th set just this year alone.. LOL Brakes work as expected, but the front rims feel a little warm just after a slight stop. more so the right one. Thinking the OEM calipers are shot i replaced them.. bled the lines, installed new TQ'S pads.. and on my way for 6K miles.. I went to compress the new caliper after the first set of TQ'S were GONE in in like 6K miles, and you know it was HARD AGAIN - just like the first time.. i compressed and extended them a few times and they seem to be free up. installed thinking all was well, and within 100 miles i could feel that slight drag. Maybe a 1.5 MPG loss. BUT after the car has sat, you can lean on the front, and move it with no issues.( seems to free up after sitting a short time) but after using it, you can still manually move it, just seems like it weights 3500 lbs.
I've replaced the calipers. and did a fluid flush.. rears are adjusted correctly...
Am i looking on the front rubber flex brake hoses?
Thanks, Happy Thanksgiving!.
Cheers.
