Rest in peace buddy. As you used to say "that play was as cool as the other side of the pillow", you were one cool sportscaster yourself. An inspiration to all those that fight cancer. Rest in peace brother!

I was really sad waking up to this. I always enjoyed his sportscasting and he was a truly inspirational person. It is funny how someone most of us have never met can have such an impact on our lives on a daily basis.

Indeed. Well said!

On the topic of Sportscenter, did anyone see the commercial marathon on Christmas Eve? They ran credits for about a half hour with all of their commercials. We actually sat as a family and watched them and we collectively had not laughed so hard in a long time.

Very sad day for those of us who makes SC a daily view. Condolences to his family and friends.

He was the best and he changed sports commentary! I hope his family is at peace. I know he loved his daughters very much.

My thoughts and prayers are for his family and friends. With so many causal acquaintances and total strangers giving heartfelt tributes to his memory Stuart Scott must of been one heck of a human being.

One of a kind sports caster you are "cool as the other side of the pillow" and "boo-ya" to you Mr. Scott.
