This oil filter and STP blend 5w20 was offf a friends Silverado with 2.7?v-6engine for 7,000. Put the same back in ans friend uses STP oil doesn’t look too bad.

So are some of the STP filters still made by Premium Guard or was it just older stock?

Still made by Premium Guard. The one he supplied made earlier this year and identical to this one

Yeah, we use their diesel oil filters without issue at work.
