STP hm oil treatment with zddp?

Hi everyone. Does anyone have any experience with this stp hm zddp product using in there engines? I have honda civic 00'with 280k on odometer, or just to continue using hm motor oils like before? Any advices?

Yes, forget the additive junk and just use a good oil.

+1. If you want oil with a bit of extra "oomph" just use HM oil.
 
STP is for keeping an engine or gearbox with shot rings, bearings, seals, etc. limping along. The ZDDP content is questionable at best. Its best treated as a cheap thickener and nothing more.

I'd be blown away if your engine has a flat tappet camshaft design; ZDDP concerns are an issue with older design engines such as two of the four in my sig, notably at break-in and with high spring pressures. Even if your engine design included flat tappets ... at 280K, adding ZDDP won't matter much. Yes, continue as before or try a HDEO like Delo, Rotella, Delvac, etc.

Dont use additive to try make up for buying bad oil,
if you have alot left over, it may be worth it... but just change your oil often if you think you need the extra protection.
