Was just at the local Auto Zone and saw they are now carrying STP brand oils. This is a new thing, right? I did a search and didn't find much on here or elsewhere... anyone know anything about this oil? pqiamerica.com has some info on the conventional, but not the synthetic.

Likly made by Warren, same as SuperTech motor oil at Wal-Mart and the same as the house brand Autozone oil.

Looking at the containers, I doubt it's made by Warren (WPP) or Warren Unilube.....STP oils used to be made by JD Street of St. Louis...maybe they still are....

I think it is made by STP themselves, the mineral oil VOA at PQIA does not look very special, it has a high noack volatility and a lowish TBN. I would rather buy a name brand like GTX.
