STP complete fuel system cleaner + 3 gallon Gas

Hi
I plan to run STP complete fuel system cleaner with just 3 gallon Gas so that the injectors get a concentrated dose of this cleaner . Are there any harm in doing this .
The car is 1990 Volvo 240DL . The cylender 1 injector seems to be little leaky as I have found spark plug in wet for that cylender. Idling and running is smooth and good as such.

Probably won't hurt the injectors, but there are gasket, fuel pump and seal considerations, too. Most of the injector cleaners that are meant to run "rich" or concentrated for better cleaning are usually set up at the fuel rail under the hood, bypassing the fuel tank altogether.

I wouldnt be worried, these OTC products are not of the strength where an over treat will start eating things up.

Just play it on the safe-side & don't take more than a couple weeks to burn those three gallons of fuel.

its just a dose of 80-90% mineral spirits,
good for a mild cleaning.

So I have put that with may be 5 gallons of fuel still left in the tank . Should be concentrated enough and may not harm. If I had spare injectors I would have sent them for cleaning . Waiting for sunny weekend to scour the JY
