Hee hee. Totally forgot about the STP until she was giving me oil change type cold starts on a few low 30s nights. Had to change at only 4000 miles. Got a load of NextGen in there now, 5w30, with some boosters for zddp of course. Boy that NextGen looked thin pouring from the bottle, says 11 cst at 100C though on the website. I am at 11.8 with the additive.

One 15 oz bottle of CD2 High Mileage additive think is aroun 4000 ppm zinc etc. And 1.5 to 2 oz of Bruce381's PCMO additive (the stuff the manufacturers add to base oil) that is about 21,700 ppm zinc!
The oil was 5.1 qt jug--rough time to pre fill the filter from that. Had to pour into empty quart bottle then into filter.
Yeah, I even went 5w30, figured these days it's as good as 10w30 and it is winter coming and truck sits outside.
