Stop washing your jeans.

Sometimes I like to consider a road trip, maybe in USA, and I ponder the idea of visiting some BITOG guys en route, but I'd have to refer back to this thread to see who would make the list.

I wash my jeans after 2 wearing's, more often if there was a messy oil change event. I also shower and use deodorant, and encourage others to do same.

Here's why you might want to stop drinking water immediately!

Scientists have confirmed, through trials and research looking back hundreds of years, that people who drink water have a 100% death rate. They also confirmed water is highly addictive with major withdrawal symptoms for those who go without. These withdrawals include thirst, upset stomach, dark urine, fatigue, and even death.

Water is also very difficult to avoid. The vegetables in your fridge likely contain water. Studies have also shown that water is a solvent capable of dissolving many different kinds of particles. Does that sound like something you want in your body?

Further studies have shown that the vast majority of people who get divorced had a drink of water within 24 hours prior, meaning water may be bad for your marriage. Almost 50% of all children who drink water will likely get divorced at some point in their lives. Many parents may be unknowingly condemning their children by making them drink water, forcing their addiction on their children.

Water has also been linked to violent attacks. Every person who was eaten by a shark encountered water right beforehand, meaning being in and around water may increase your likelihood of getting eaten. Studies have shown that water gives dangerous predators an insatiable desire for human flesh. Research into people eaten by animals like bears, tigers, and lions have shown that every one of them drank water recently beforehand.

Even the big drug companies are on board with this!

I do not use a dryer for clothes. All clothes even socks and underwear get hung as it's better for them. Only towels and linens go in the dryer.

And if you do use the dryer, use the lowest heat possible.
Your clothes will last longer (as noticed by the reduced amount of "lint" in the trap), and they'll still get fully dried.

I can get away with not washing my work jeans daily in the winter time "most" days. Come summer time & being a welder -- I sweat wearing all my PPE and jeans get washed after one day of use. Same thought process as Trav though basically -- I prefer clean clothes & daily showers. I also use a hanging rack to hang all my clothes then use frehen up on the dryer on low setting with a fabric sheet to make them softer and smell fresh also. Only towels, bed sheets and socks go in the dryer direct from washer. Saves on electricity and easier/less wear on the fabrics.

I have play attire that I wear twice , I have ruined too many nice stuff being lazy and not changing before a project . Keeps the good stuff good .

Shirts I’ll only wear once or twice but jeans I’ll go a week or something pretty often. Not all at once, maybe two three day spans or something like that spread out over 2 weeks, but if they aren’t soiled or sweat in or whatever I don’t see the point in washing them every 1-2 times.

Then there is the Dihydrogen Monoxide problem. No real efforts to address it.

If we could save even 1 life.
