Stop washing your jeans.

I don't wash my nice jeans often. Once a year maybe, but it's not because of any sense of conservation. It's just better for the jeans.

I consider myself an environmentalist but until corporations and entire industries are held to some real standards it's hard to take seriously.

There's GenX in the well water but I should stop washing clothes. 🖕

I wear my kakis twice before washing. Not because I'm going to save the planet, but to save on laundry work and water bill. I also make one bath towel last about a week. I'm in a house with a wife and two teen girls. There is usually at least one pile of washed stuff to be "put up" at any time.

Start with not washing your underwear. At least nobody can see those cruddy skivvies! And with the Coof still going around many won't be able to smell them either.😝 Save water by having your drinks neat.

I don't wash them every time I wear them. It's every third wearing for me unless I wore them to work on the car or in the yard. They don't get dirty wearing them on casual Friday or out to dinner.

Here's why you might want to stop drinking water immediately!

Scientists have confirmed, through trials and research looking back hundreds of years, that people who drink water have a 100% death rate. They also confirmed water is highly addictive with major withdrawal symptoms for those who go without. These withdrawals include thirst, upset stomach, dark urine, fatigue, and even death.

Water is also very difficult to avoid. The vegetables in your fridge likely contain water. Studies have also shown that water is a solvent capable of dissolving many different kinds of particles. Does that sound like something you want in your body?

Further studies have shown that the vast majority of people who get divorced had a drink of water within 24 hours prior, meaning water may be bad for your marriage. Almost 50% of all children who drink water will likely get divorced at some point in their lives. Many parents may be unknowingly condemning their children by making them drink water, forcing their addiction on their children.

Water has also been linked to violent attacks. Every person who was eaten by a shark encountered water right beforehand, meaning being in and around water may increase your likelihood of getting eaten. Studies have shown that water gives dangerous predators an insatiable desire for human flesh. Research into people eaten by animals like bears, tigers, and lions have shown that every one of them drank water recently beforehand.

Tune in next week when we talk about how vehicles that get their oil changed have a 98% chance of ending up in a junkyard.

Depends entirely on the activity I’m doing… if they’re dirty or I was running around getting all sweaty they’ll get washed after a single use. To and from work 3 days.

I live in an area where most of the water I use is cleaned and recycled.
Piss today and drink it next week, aint it great?

I wear my jeans 3 or 4 days then wash them,I have an office job and they stay very clean.

I wear jeans to work 5 times before I wash them. I mostly work from home now, so maybe once a month.

But I have probably 6 decent pairs of jeans so washing frequently doesn't really matter to me.

It's not like that 900 gallons of water is just gone. Plenty of water here in Minnesota.

You might be surprised depending on where you live. If you live in the suburbs of Minneapolis or Saint Paul, your water comes from groundwater, which we are depleting faster than it is replenished. Remember the whole White Bear Lake water level issue? Ask any of the communities up there if there is enough water to go around...

It definitely is not as simple as "we have plenty of water". As someone who works in the industry, simply not true.
